Jennifer Heckman was born on July 23, 1975, in Miami and was raised in Jacksonville, Florida where she attended Bishop Kenny High School. She attended theUniversity of Florida and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and a minor in French. Thereafter, she attended law school at the Florida State University College of Law. Jennifer was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002.
From 1998 (starting as a law clerk) to early 2011, Jennifer practiced with a large Tallahassee law firm. She has a wide range of litigation experience at both the trial level and on appeal in the District Courts of Florida and before the Florida Supreme Court. Jennifer is admitted to practice in Florida and in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Jennifer’s practice encompasses all facets of litigation, including cases arising in the areas of creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, consumer protection litigation defense, general commercial litigation and community association law.
