Chad D. Heckman was raised in Dixon, Illinois and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1996. Thereafter, he lived and worked in Chicago for an international corporation before moving to San José, Costa Rica to live, work and study from 1997 to 1998. In 1998, Chad returned to the U.S. and began his studies at the Florida State University College of Law. Chad received his law degree in 2001 and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year.
Chad regularly speaks and writes on topics relating to Creditor’s Rights, bankruptcy, foreclosure law and related litigation. He represents primarily corporate and financial institution clients and devotes his practice to Creditor’s Rights, bankruptcy law, commercial litigation, real property litigation and the defense of consumer protection lawsuits filed against his institutional and corporate clients.
